This policy sets out how ProNewsFlash sources, verifies and corrects what it publishes. It is a working document and we hold ourselves to it.
Sourcing
We report from primary documents wherever one exists. For a regulation that means the published text, for a case the filing or judgment, for an agency action the agency’s own release. Secondary reporting is used to find stories, not to substitute for reading the document.
Every article that draws on another publication’s reporting names that publication and links to it. We do not republish other outlets’ articles, in whole or in rewritten form, and we do not present another newsroom’s work as our own.
Verification
Figures, dates, party names, case numbers and quoted language are checked against the source document before publication and are reproduced exactly. Where a number is contested or an outcome is not yet final, the article says so in the same sentence rather than in a footnote.
We do not publish anonymously sourced claims about pending enforcement without a second, independent confirmation.
Independence
Commercial relationships do not influence editorial coverage. Sponsored articles, press releases and contributed columns are labelled as such on the page and are excluded from our news feeds. Outbound links in commercial content carry the appropriate link attributes.
No member of the editorial team accepts payment, equity or gifts from an organisation they cover.
Bylines
Every article carries a named human byline and every byline has an author page stating that person’s beat and background. We do not publish under a generic newsroom or administrator byline.
Use of AI

Corrections
Errors of fact are corrected and the correction is disclosed on the article. We do not silently amend a published claim. Our corrections page explains the process and carries the log.
Right of reply
Any organisation named critically in our reporting may respond, and we will carry a substantive response on the article itself. Requests go to the editor through Contact.
